Leadership in STEM

BEST Conference Day

BEST Conference Day is a conference on “Leadership in STEM”. The goal of the conference is to show the importance of leadership in STEM branches of science to students of technical and technological and natural sciences and mathematics faculties through interactive workshops, panel discussions and sessions. In addition, students have the opportunity to engage in conversation and make contacts with leaders and representatives of numerous companies. BEST Conference Day is part of the European Conference of Engineering and Technology Students (BEST’s General Assembly), which is attended by students from all eighty-five local BEST groups from thirty countries.

The General Assembly

The General Assembly is a BEST event that brings together all BEST local groups. From each local BEST group comes one delegate who will represent it, as well as the international executive board, representatives of international departments and all other participants who improve this European organisation as a whole. It is held twice a year – in spring and autumn. The general assembly organised by BEST Belgrade will be held in Serbia in April 2024, and the last time this event was held in Serbia was back in 2011. At the General Assembly, the future of BEST as a European student organisation is decided, the reports of each local group and international departments on their work so far are submitted, a new international executive committee is elected and much more. The General Assembly is divided into BEST Conference Day and the days of the assembly
